Description:   A very fine example of a vintage GMT MASTER ref. 6542in stainless steel. This early GMT reference has the original glossy dial with gilt writing and the blue and red acrylic bezel that is commonly referred to as bakelite. This automatic GMT is circa 1958-59. There is an engraving on the back dating the watch to 1962.
